Commercial Litigation

Commercial litigation can be defined as any dispute with or among business people (commerçants) or commercial legal entities. This field of practice includes a wide variety of disputes such as, but not limited to, contractual liability, debt collection, unfair competition, etc.

The French courts with jurisdiction over such disputes are primarily:

  • Civil courts (Tribunaux de Grande Instance) and
  • Commercial courts (Tribunaux de Commerce).

Our Firm regularly assists clients in these types of disputes. Our clients include French and foreign individuals, as well as domestic and international companies.

We assist clients before the French courts, but also, earlier on in the matter, in order to prepare or seek to avoid commercial litigation.

Me GUERIN’s significant experience working in prestigious international law firms, both French and Anglo-Saxon (English & American), allows his law firm to efficiently represent foreign clients.

Me GUERIN is fluent in English. As such, he is in a unique position to usefully assist foreign clients in France in their commercial disputes and litigation.
